Lugo II is a contemporary upholstered bed with a clean design, compact dimensions, and a functional storage compartment.

The model is based on Lugo and retains its distinctive features: minimalist geometry, a soft headboard with rounded corners, and compact overall dimensions in relation to the sleeping area.

The key feature of Lugo II is its closed platform base with a lift-up mechanism, which makes it possible to create a spacious storage compartment underneath the sleeping area for bed linen and other items.

Unlike the Lugo model, which stands on 15 cm high metal legs, Lugo II features a closed base, allowing the internal space of the bed to be efficiently used for storage.

The reinforced construction is designed for reliable everyday use, while the lift-up mechanism provides convenient access to the storage compartment.

The upholstered headboard with softly rounded corners complements the bed’s clean, contemporary design. The option to combine different fabrics and shades allows Lugo II to be customized to suit individual interiors.

Construction and Materials

  • The bed frame is made of plywood.
  • Soft element filling: HS furniture foam and siliconized polyester padding with a density of 400 g/m².

Configuration with Lift-Up Mechanism

  • Lift-up mechanism: Stalmot (Poland), model PZ 217-5, with gas struts.
  • Orthopedic mattress base: reinforced metal construction made of 30 × 30 × 2 mm profile tubing, with slats spaced 4.5 cm apart.
  • Additional reinforcement: two metal support crossbars, 20 × 40 × 2 mm, providing increased rigidity and structural reliability.
  • Storage compartment: 15 cm deep.
  • Storage compartment bottom: removable, made of laminated chipboard, and divided into three separate sections with handles for easy access and maintenance.
  • Buffer brush: installed around the perimeter of the storage compartment bottom.

Configuration without Lift-Up Mechanism

  • The bed is equipped with a reinforced mattress support system consisting of perforated metal profiles with slat holders and a central metal support.
  • The metal profiles also provide additional reinforcement to the bed structure, increasing its rigidity and reliability.
  • The slats are spaced 2.5 cm apart, providing reliable mattress support and even weight distribution across the entire sleeping area.
